This FM 2013 player profile of Georginio Wijnaldum shows one of the most versatile midfielders in the game, a real talent that can make pretty good progress in the future. I think you all know Georginio from the previous versions of the game, I think I signed him in almost every save I had since FM 2009. The kid surely has the skills, great passing, technique, dribbling, first touch, plus solid speed and agility. Not to mention his mental attributes, excellent creativity, flair and off the ball, perfect for an attacking midfielder.
PSV are willing to let him go for 12.5 million at the start of the game and that’s not a bad deal considering that you can rely on him for at least 10 seasons if you buy him right away. He can become your first choice AMC but he will also be able to provide cover for almost any role in midfield. In my test save he ended up at Valencia after a two-season spell at Tottenham. His value went up from under 5 million at the start of the game to 15 million, a good financial investment too I guess.

I’m liking the regular posts, but there are a lot of 9s and 9.5s being thrown out? Or are the players getting better?? Anyway, this guy looks really good.

Versatile is definitely the word. 12.5 million for a player who will be able to do a job right away and bags of potential to boot.
