This FM 2013 player profile of Fernando shows a strong defensive midfielder from Brazil and a lad that can play the ball fairly well too. His value went all the way up to 18.25 million in my test save after moving from Gremio to Corinthians and, most important, after getting 3 caps for the national team of Brazil. Unfortunately the initial asking price for this lad is ridiculous, no less than 27.5 million, and that is way too much by any standards. But if he ever becomes available for less (Corinthians got him for 8.75 mil) he is worth getting thanks to his very good mental attributes, good physique and decent ability on the ball.

I always buy this guy, He has a 6.25mil release clause on the default database. Very consistent performer.

Unfortunately that release clause went way up in the latest patch, around 28 million.
