Hey guys, just a quick post with some news on a brand new feature for FMS. You may have noticed a few links and banners mentioning our Football Manager Live Stream. We will now be hosting these live streams, based around different themes once every week or fortnight, depending on our schedule. You will be informed of any streams a day or two before they go live, both on the FMS main site and through Facebook and Twitter (I’d recommend clicking the links and following us if you haven’t already.)
This weekend will be our debut, we’ll go live on Saturday 1st February at precisely 11.30am GMT. The stream will most likely last an hour or two, depending on how interested everyone is and will be based around my recently created 4-2-3-1 tactic. I’ll be playing with my Newcastle side, to show you how I use the tactic and how deadly it can be with a top side. Please try and be around for the start so we don’t have to recap the squad and tactic explanation for late comers, as that will only happen once.
Our Live Streams will also feature a chat room, situated just below the stream itself and you are all welcome to signup to Twitch and chat among yourselves in there. While I am happy to answer questions, please be mindful of the amount of viewers we may get, if everyone asked us three or four questions then we’d never be able to get the stream done.
You will be able to see all of our live streams here, by clicking the top tab or by clicking the banner on the homepage. On that page in the large box is where the stream will be shown and it will play automatically when we go live.
Future streams will most likely just feature Darren playing FM in general as a hangout session of sorts. At some point we may setup an actual Q&A session, the possibilities are endless, but for now I really hope to see you all at 11.30am this Saturday. If you’re forgetful like me, like our Facebook page and follow our Twitter page by clicking the links and then follow or like, that way I can send you a quick reminder nearer the time.

I’ve watched all of them so far and they’ve been really enjoyable so hopefully will continue. I won’t be able to watch live (I’ll be at the Newcastle match :)) But I’ll make sure to watch the highlights when I get some time.

Wow thats great…i enjoy watching streams in general and many times i thought to myself why there isnt a commited FM stream out there…you know, a chat full of tactic lovers who share their opinion while watching a live game..thats a very good initiative no matter the results and i look forward to it…

Darren, is it possible to slide that start time a couple of hours in the future? That’s currently 5:30 am here in the central US….a little too early for me on a Sat.. :)

Sorry mate, I hadn’t considered that but will do next time and try to arrange slightly better times if I can. Unfortunately its too late to change the time now as many will be expecting 11.30 and probably won’t log back in until then. But I will record the stream and leave it on this post once we’re done so you can watch it back at a more reasonable time.

No, they deleted it I’m afraid, they can’t recover something they have deleted. Problem is these files are huge due to recording length, so for them to store everyones streams forever it would cost a bomb and they wouldn’t be able to afford it.
