I was going to run the poll until Sunday but since the votes have pretty much dried up then I thought I might as well end it now. I’ll run through the teams from last place to 1st place and show you how many votes each team racked up, if you’ve already counted the votes yourself then shame on you ;) you’ll have ruined the surprise for yourself :)

So with Napoli, Newcastle, and Wolfsburg not proving too popular Arsenal were the closest to putting up a fight against the top 2 of the poll, and to be honest, even they were miles away. So Blackburn and Monaco received the most votes, and I can tell you there was only 1 between them so scroll down to see who my first team on FM12 will be…

1st Place — Blackburn Rovers, with 14 votes
So Blackburn won the poll and my first flurry into FM12 will be with this Lancashire club who I can hopefully lead to their second Premier League title.
Thanks to everyone who voted for me and on another note I’ve called time on my Hull story all together, all we did in the Premier League was lose and that’s not what you want to spend your time doing in between college work, so I guess I’ll see you guys on October 21st.

Hopefully I’ll do better than Blackburn are doing in real life, that’s if it’s actually possible to do any worse, they’ve got a decent team, just lack the management.

You’ll have a tough time trying to get those Indian chicken owners to splash the cash as you’ll definitely need to strengthen your squad. Really looking forward to the story though :)

Blackburn will make for an interesting story especially if its a long one, would be good to see you take the club to levels they haven’t seen since the days of Shearer.

I’m thinking that this could be quite a long story since it’s going to take nothing short of ages before the club can compete with Manchester and London on a footballing scope. Hopefully I can bring in a talismanic striker like Shearer to lead the line.

Blackburn are a decent asset with very good experienced player (Samba) and some interesting prospects too, Hoilett, Goodwillie and Rochina above all.
I’m curious to see if Rochina and Goodwillie will have an attributes boost in FM 12.

I was thinking the same things, Samba, Formica, and Robinson will be key along with Vuckevic whereas Hoilett is a great prospect. Hopefully Rochina and Goodwillie will have boosted stats too.
