Hey guys, I have a special announcement regarding Football Manager Stories continuous growth. The FMS community already boasts a social network, forum, video site, community feeds, FM handbook and one of the most popular main sites around. Quite a lot of stuff, but Johnny and I are always thinking of new ideas and guess what, we’re introducing one today…The FMS Scouting Network! This new extension is both a blog and social network. We want the new site to become every bodies must go place for FM player tips.
You can find tonnes of player profiles and answers to help find the best FM 2011 player for your team. We have various different Football Manager player lists featuring extensive Football Manager profiles. This site is also a social network with a twist, no general chit chat, just FM player talk. Have you just signed an incredible bargain? If so register and share him through your activity page, we want this site to become one big, collective effort to offer each other player tips.
You make the difference!!
That’s right, the big catch with FMS Scouting Network is that you the reader can make a huge difference. We are trying to gather one massive database of player profiles, to then be organised into lists. To create all these profiles we need your help! If you are interested in becoming an FMS official scout then email me at darrensmith360[at]googlemail[dot]com. For those of you who want more information first, just visit the about page here.
Every profile written will be entered into various different lists, including the ‘player index’ which is completely interactive. Through this index you can make word searches, or even order the categories by value, age or position. Only the FMS official scouts can write profiles for these lists, but that shouldn’t stop the rest of you been active. You can log-in and share your player tips through the home page any time.
What do you do now?
- Simple! Head over to www.footballmanagerstory.com/scout.
- Sign up or login through the top right sidebar, if you can’t be bothered to sign up, just connect through Facebook.
- Then start searching for player tips and get sharing your own through your activity stream on the home page.
- If you fancy becoming an official FMS scout and writing player profile posts, then email me at darrensmith360[at]googlemail[dot]com. If not, just share your opinions and new found talent through the home page.
What the ‘FMS Scouting Network’ has to offer
- What will be the biggest and most comprehensive FM player list around. Including special search boxes and a fully interactive table.
- Many more lists to follow, this will make your player searching so much easier.
- Activity stream for anybody to share their players and scouting tips.
- The opportunity to become an FMS official scout, anybody with great scouting skills can sign on.
- Make friends and share photo/video albums, very similar to Facebook. You can even create your own groups.
- What will be the biggest collection of player profiles, when you need a player check our database and select your man to see his profile.
- Each profile includes detailed information including a screenshot and scouts report.
P.S. On a side note, our rankings have become rather unpopular and are no longer active enough to warrant continuation. As from today, the FMS rankings will cease to exist, apologies to anyone who enjoyed this feature but there aren’t enough participants to carry it on.

Actually it was Darren’s idea :) You can either use your Facebook account to log in or create a new account there.

I can see your account there, you need to sign in under the username of ‘plobdork’ and then whatever password you entered. If it doesn’t work let me know.

I’m back in England now, had a great time but been back and working on this new site for the last few days.
As for the profiles, you could try them as I have some tutorials, its just whether you’d fully understand the instructions, but I’ll leave it upto you. If you give me your email I could send the tutorials for you to look at.

Sorry Timmy, I’m not sure what you mean by the first question. Basically your profile name is the name people see, like your username if that answers the question. Yohanes’ post was just writing in the activity stream, which isn’t actually posting a profile but a good way of sharing your players unofficially. You have to be an official scout to do them and write them in a different area to what Yohanes did. But you can share your tips like he did if you’d like.

Unfortunately that is not an option at the moment, it might be possible but I haven’t figured out a solution.
