Huddersfield Town: End of Story

Hello Friends,

I hope everyone is enjoying to World Cup, I’ve hardly had time to watch a game due to work which is very disappointing and when I do have time someone tells me the freaking result beforehand!!!

Well the subject title gives it all away as my reign at Huddersfield is over thanks to the Windows XP operating system which crashed hours after my FedEx operating system did at work. At home unlike at work I failed to back up my game save on an external device and so it’s gone forever. The Huddersfield game I was really getting into as well.

So, Windows XP has been reinstalled along with everything else that needs to be done and I’ve downloaded FM 2010 from Steam so I hope to bring you a new story over the next few days.

Regards,

Kevin.

Windows XP always crashes just when it shouldn’t… Anyway, I’m looking forward to the next story.

Hi Callum, Johnny, Lye and Sears.
Thanks for all your comments, it’s a sad day for sure. At this point I have no team in mind and I may just start unemployed and see where the game takes me from club to club.

What a shame Kevin, I really feel for you.

But starting unemployed could be an interesting move. I haven’t tried that myself yet. Good luck in your future management activities.

Shame, but nothing you can do.

Hopefully you can start a new game, maybe should try managing away from Europe.

Start in Asia, or South America and work your way from continent to continent.

Or just manage in Spain, the best league there is! :D

    Hi Ana
Thanks. I don’t think i’ll try Spsin as you’ve set the standard there an that will be hard to beat. I did try Holland once with Ajax but got «homesick» :) Maybe South America though?

    HI,

I have followed all of your story, just never commented. Today i also feel sad that a story that was starting to hot up, will not happen anymore. Good Luck with next story, i’d like you to take the Leeds Job!

PS: I suggest you install VISTA, much better and it is what i am using currently

    Good Luck

    Hello Mo
Thanks for your comments and for following my story and I appreciate the tip about VISTA and will bear that in mind if XP Crashes again. Leeds was one of my favorite teams in the 1970’s but I went off of them after the violence at the European Cup Final in 1975. but interesting choice

South America is a really fun place to play I have had good games in Mexico, Chile, Brazil and Argentina.

Its also a different challenge than Europe and may offer something different to most stories.

But the choice is yours, I mean you dont want to get stuck playing a game you dont enjoy. Hope you find a team soon!
