World Cup Contest Rankings and Semi Finals Schedule

Published on

Hello dear friends, we’re almost there! The World Cup quarter finals are now over, Holland, Uruguay, Germany and Spain made it through to the last four. That means that our contest is approaching its end too but the race is still pretty tight from what I can see, there are still lots of contenders in with a chance to grab the prize, a copy of Football Manager 2011!

Our table has a brand new leader, Chris @ Chester had a fabulous day yesterday and he added 12 points to his tally. That pushed him straight to the top but the race is not over yet. There are four more games to be played which means that any of you could still add 24 more points to the scoreboard. The leader has 80 points so everybody above 12th placed Burak_gs (including him) still have a chance to finish top. I’m sure that the others will keep playing too, we had lots of fun until now!

Please let me know if you notice any errors in the points calculation, thanks.

On to the next matches, the two semi finals. Remember that you should predict the score at the end of 90 minutes, what happens in extra time or during the penalty shoot out does not count in our contest!

July 6th and 7th Fixtures (semi finals)

July 6 19:30 GMT  Uruguay vs Holland

July 7 19:30 GMT  Germany vs Spain

Thanks for participating and good luck!
