Swindon Town: August 2012, The End

Published on

Hello Everyone

I’ve decided not to carry on with Swindon anymore. As you will see below their was not much improvment in August and the defeat against Derby was the final nail in the coffin. There’s really not much to write about when all the action is in your own half which has been the case since the start of 2012 and so it’s very difficult to be motivated and continue on.

I’d like to thank all of you for reading my blog and for all the kind words and support along the way but most of all my biggest thanks goes to Johnny for allowing me to be the first to post on his site and for responding to all the messages I sent him from work almost  every day. I’m sure you will agree he’s a great guy and freely gives out advice and always comments on our stories.

Here are the last results

Whether I’ll start a new story remains to be seen. For now I’m going to clear the snow off my driveway, have a cup of coffee and comtemplate my Football Manager future. I’ll continue to follow Notts County and all the other stories linked to this site as they are a superb read and well done to everyone for your achievments so far.

If anyone wants to contact me I can be reached at kevin.mayo@aegoncanada.ca   (Mon -Fri) or kevin.mayo@live.com  on the weekends.

Johnny, I’ll leave it up to you in how you want to handle all the previous posts, i.e. whether to delete them or not.

Regards, Kevin
