Second Season Begins!

Second Season Begins — The Start Of Dreams!

After a troubled summer my team have put all the clubs problems behind them to give us a dream start in the league.

As you can see we now have started to defend! Goals have flowed freely and a slight change in formation means we now are alot harder to beat. 11 points clear at the top has us dreaming of promotion, however our squad is scarily thin.

Fixtures

As you can see we are now winning away games, plus we have have turned are adopted stadium into the points winning place that we did last year. Very dissapointing cup match saw us well beaten away at Recreativo but all in all a fantastic start.

We are just about making profit each month but still remain heavily in debt, hoping for some rich owner! But at the moment no luck :)

Tactics

We have gone to a 4-4-2 formation, with Lopes being the focal point of our attack. Brit and him have forged a great partnership and both have scored goals. Chalwe has been promoted to vice captain and has worked well with Rajnoch.

The two defend so well, with Mora also fantastic for my team.

The formation gives us a good balance, and we have settled well into it.

Player Ratings So Far

As you can see morale is very good, and Lopes, Velasco and Quero are my three best players so far but have played a lot less than the excellent Walter Gaitan. Romo is a sort of super sub! Coming of the bench and scoring big goals. Brit is our top scorer with 9 goals this season.

I would like to single out my young full back Gorka Velasco, a product from our youth academy.

If you can see he has been called up for Spanish youth teams and is the youngest player ever for Real Union after breaking into the first team at 16. He can also play at centre back and is a real prospect. A few la liga side are looking at him but I really want to keep hold of him!

So a really good start and have set my target of top six, I believe this is very achievable but I really think we can grab a promotion place!
