Hello everyone!

Hope you are all are enjoying the world cup, even if the goals havnt flowed as we all would like!

Am really excited as my team (Spain) play today so hopefully they can light a very cautious start and show why we are the best attacking team in world football!

:)

But onto my story and I have just completed my season, so lets have a look at how things have gone :

Hello everyone!

Hope you are all are enjoying the world cup, even if the goals havnt flowed as we all would like!

Am really excited as my team (Spain) play today so hopefully they can light a very cautious start and show why we are the best attacking team in world football!

:)

But onto my story and I have just completed my season, so lets have a look at how things have gone :

———————————————————————————————————————————————-

La Liga Results And Table

So we had a run of six wins which confirmed that we would once again regain our la liga title. Two really poor home draws followed then we beat both Real Madrid and Sevilla.

Was fairly pleased that my side got these two wins as it shows that they want to win every game, even when we have nothing to play for!

So we ended up winning with a 13 point advantage over Real Madrid. We didnt score as may as we are used too but we defended so well, so lets take the posotives!

8 draws and one defeat shows the class we have, and how hard we are to beat. However some players did let me down this season.

The Champions League

Off to the final!

We put in our best performance of the season to beat Arsenal 3-1 at home, I was a little worried about the away goal but my side defended brilliantly at the Emirates as we took a 1-1 draw.

Another fairly crazy game in our champions league run saw a 3-3 draw in Portugal. So much for these tight nervy affairs! We should have won the game, but in the end our defence was poor gifting two goals away. However with three away goals I was very happy.

We comfortably beat them at home to send us to the home of Juventus in Italy to meet Real Madrid in the final. Over the past few years we have had a great record over them so was hoping to finally win that elusive trophy!

The Champions League Final

So here we are!

The only trophy I havnt won at Real Union, and we were to meet our big rivals from Spain, Real Madrid. Being a Barcelona fan I wanted so much to win this game! But the game would prove to be very difficult.

Our team to face them, and I made a couple of big changes.

I gave Gauchino the start over Romero leaving my experienced player on the bench. Gauchinho has been in good form and could be a real legend for our club, so went with him.

My back two of Bisaku and Mazza are just brilliant, they have performed so well, so Krystov will have to watch from the bench.

Azparren, Lopez Santos and Atuxta (Home grown player) make up the next three postions, leaving the injured Aizpurua at home. Flavio our Brazilian defensive player was unlucky not to start but I went with the amazing Atuxta who never lets me down!

Lowe and Lopez Fernandez are just quality, think of Iniesta (Lowe) and Xavi (Lopez Fernandez) and well thats what we have. A world class midfield.

Our front three was fairly easy to pick, Castaignos our captain our hero was always going to start, only injury keeps him out of my team. Vandinho’s height and power is a handfull, he is almost like Drogba in some respects, whilst David is almost a carbon copy of Barcelona’s newest striker David Villa.

As you can see our team is very good. Madrid still were relying on Benzema but had Abel Hernandez upfront. However their best player Robert van der Plas (sort of like Fernando Torres) was suspended so we were given a huge boost.

So Finally The Result!

YAAAAY!!!!! :D

I must admit their was only one team in this game. We had so many chances to win the match. We had 21 shots at goal testing their keeper 7 times and hitting the post. They created very little and it took until the 97th minute into extra time for Luc Castaignos to fire home a fantastic 25 yard strike to seal the win!

After the game I was inducted to the hall of fame!

So my target was to win the champions league with Real Union and I finally did! It was a long time coming but am really proud, my next target is to manage twenty years at my little club! I have been here now almost 14 so am fairly close to my next target!

Player Ratings And Extra Bits

So again Castaignos is our star I have ran out of superlatives for him again! Just amazingly consistant and I have found the perfect role for him to shine.

Lopez Fernandez and David our Spanish duo had a great season as did our South American’s Vandinho and Mazza. Krystov is still a great player despite his age and continues to do a great job when called upon.

A few dissapointing players including Aizpurua, Lopez Santos, Romero and Kramaric but all in all a great season.

The Great Man!

Ok, so I thought I would show you a snapshot of Luc Castaignos and what he means to my team, here is his career stats so far! :

So remember these are only his league stats! And you can see just how vital he is in both the creation and taking of chances. For 1.8 million I will struggle to find a better signing, just look at his average ratings! Never below a 7 and is just so consistant.

He is now 30 and is the captain of my team, I know he wont play forever so am looking for someone to step into his role, a very tall order!!

By far my most favourite player on the game, and any game! So buy him!! :)

And that is that!

Another terrific season and another trophy filled one! We have finally won the champions league and now are set to defend it! We are dominating the league as we we once again set out to retain la liga, my aim is to win everything next year!!!

And Finally!

Almost finished, so stay with me!

I have another job now! Here it is :

I am now the national coach of Brazil! I will do it part time if you like, staying at Real Union. I almost never manage two sides at the same time and almost never manage an international side. After getting a lot of job offers I took Brazil as you would expect they have a quality team.

I felt that this was a good chance to guide a good side and to learn how to manage on the international stage. They sacked former coach Adilson Batista at the quarter final stage of the Copa America then I took over a day before that game!

So am only three games away from my first trophy! We will play Venezuela for a place in the semi final, but my main aim is to qualify for the 2026 world cup and win it!!

So another challenge and am pretty excited about it!

Hopefully you will still follow my journey, as I am long from finished with this game!!!
