New Story, Coruxo : FM 11!

Published on

Hola a todos! Or hello everyone!

Am finally back from my trip and it was amazing! Spent all my time with my boyfriend in Germany and what a fantastic place! Its the last time I will see him until February so I have to spend Christmas on my own! :(

But enough about my real life! I bought my copy of the game on Saturday and decided to do the weakest team in Spain, as its my favourite league and the one I know the best!

So lets have a little introduction!

Coruxo F.C were formed in 1930 and play in the Segunda division B Group 1, their are 4 groups in total and how it works I am not sure yet! Adds to the unknown I guess!

They play at the stadium O Vao, standing at a colossal, 1500 arena! But its not a bad little stadium,

Now like Johnny’s story our clubs are very small! And our teams are very poor however while he has to put up with the hardship of the English weather this is were my stadium is situated!

So even if my fans hate the way I set their team up, at least they have a beautiful golden sandy beach to relax on before games! Quite a glorius place to have a stadium I think, imagine Barcelona and Real Madrid coming here!

So like I said bottom league I could in Spain and the worst team I could choose, but great weather and a beautiful beach so things could be worse! A little snapshot of team info :

So basic facilities, minimal youth setup, poorest team in the league, smallest stadium but at least a nice chairman who loves his club!

Coruxo’s history isnt fantastic in their 80 year history they havnt lifted a single trophy and their biggest achievment to date was promotion to this league where I am now! They have no legends, no icons but an ambious manager!!

The team is everything you would expect for a newly promoted team with limited resources, my assistant compiled a team report and here it is :

So not great, I must admit I have a couple of, well decent players! The best probably being right fullback Alberto Garcia (No relation!) a former Celta Vigo B player. Jacobo is also a good fullback and seeing as I use them quite alot its nice to have them as our best players.

Antunez is our record appearence holder with alomost 100 but our new strikeforce of the pacey-ish Santi Domiguez and towering 6′ 4» Zurbano could form a decent pair. My formation isnt going to be 4-4-2, but am still experimenting so bare with me!

So avoid relegation is my target not to ambious but am trying to get used to all the new features etc in the game so dont want to over extend myself. We have a massive £12k to spend which is very generous so I will do my best to spend it wisely, and we have a good wage structure so I can afford to bring in some more players.

Like Johnny only one journalist came to hear my first interview but the end response was exactly the same I guess were both very alike in our thinking!

So thats it! I will post up my squad and friendly games next time along with the new faces at Coruxo! Just to let you know that Real Union, my former team in the previous game also play in this division but play in group 2!

Finally a snapshot of the area where Coruxo is situated in Vigo in the Galicia region which is sort of the most North West point in Spain.

Thanks for reading and hopefully you will join me on my journey.
