Davide Bettella is a physical defender with great potential, but also capable of playing for mid-table top flight teams from the off. His good defensive attributes are boosted by some of the most impressive physical stats I have seen in a centre back.
At just £3.9 million the young Italian is a great addition. Possessing great speed and physicality can compensate for weak areas but Bettella actually becomes a well rounded defender across the board.
My only negative is the first season wait for his loan deal to finish with Pescara. Snap him up in 2019/20 though, that value will only rise.
