This FM 2015 player profile of Rafinha shows a versatile midfielder, with well rounded ability across the board and sprinkles of brilliance where it counts. In my test save Rafinha was molded into a winger/inside forward but you could develop him into a central midfielder or attacking midfielder also. Many well rounded midfielders tend to not excel in any area and can look like ‘utility men’. However, Rafinha excels in passing, technique, dribbling, crossing, touch, movement and vision…he could be your star man and act as utility in moments of crisis. Such a player in invaluable when the injuries start piling up.

Barcelona may not be keen on an instant sale but the minimum fee release clause can be activated at £22.5 million.
