This FM 2015 player profile of Joel Pohjanpalo shows a good young striker, with potential to become a solid poacher at most top teams in Europe. Buying him at the start of the game doesn’t make sense because of the high asking price but you should be able to get him for a reasonable fee later on.

In my test save he did well on loan at Dusseldorf, then returned at Leverkusen before being shipped to the Premier League at Liverpool. After a decent first season Liverpool sold him back to Germany. He did manage to bag a decent amount of goals overall despite switching teams so frequently.

The future profile shows a striker with great agility, nice speed, very good off the ball movement and also excellent composure and finishing. He’s a striker that knows how to score goals.
