This FM 2014 player profile of Michy Batshuayi shows a well rounded, physical forward with a lot of potential. Batshuayi didn’t reach his full potential in my test saves, partly due to never reaching a top, top club to train him, also AI management played its part and I suspect his flexible potential was never maxed out either. The reason I wanted to profile Batshuayi is simple, he can develop beyond the screenshots above and more importantly he starts with very good ability so can be thrown into a first team from day one, or at least rotated to aid development.

No matter where this kid went he boasted a reasonable scoring record, averaging more than a goal every other game I believe. You could develop the Belgian to fulfill a number of roles due to his all round ability, you could choose to work on his speed and finishing for a poacher role, or his technical skills to get a deep lying forward. But I reckon a role of advanced forward or poacher would suit best. Either way £8 million doesn’t seem bad for a wonderkid with good current ability.
