This FM 2013 player profile of Stefan de Vrij shows a strong Dutch central defender, a player that can dominate the penalty area thanks to his skills and mental attributes combined with his physical stature. Feyenoord want 11 million for him at the start of the game and I guess that is a bit too much considering that you might have the chance to get similar defenders for less.
However, he’s worth keeping an eye on for a future transfer, if you work on his speed he could become close to world class. In my test save he was bought by HSV for 18.5 million even though he didn’t have huge average ratings at Feyenoord.
