This FM 2013 player profile of Sergi Gomez shows a talented young centre back with bags of potential. What’s even better is that you can get him for a reasonable fee at the start of the game, just 3.5 million with the latest FM 13 patch (13.3.0). He has solid mental attributes at the age of 19 plus decent defending skills and great first touch, a good ability to have if you play possession football.

Unfortunately his career in my test save was not brilliant, he was sold quite cheaply to Levante and then moved on a free to Betis. The computer didn’t do a good job in developing his skills either. Despite that I believe that this kid can be transformed into a solid centre back, you just need to work on his speed a bit and give him enough first team football.
