Coruxo : My First Update!

Hello everyone,

Well I am addicted to this game at the moment! Played a few hours yesterday and am really enjoying it! I was going to post monthly updates but forget and just kept playing! So this will have to be and end of December update and next time I will post monthly reports on my little side!

I will aslo post my January transfers in and I want to show you some more faces I have signed. But lets get things going with the games from August and September :

August And September

We made a very encouraging start, and got our fist win at this level with a 2-1 win over Celta B with sub Santi Dominguez keeping his cool to fire home a late penalty and seal all three points.

Castilla are a good team sort of the Real Madrid B side so as you would expect their are some very good players to deal with. We never really got going and were well beaten 2-0.

Getafe B should have been alot easier than we madeit, they had three shots on target and scored three goals, thankfully we created a whole host of chances and a double from Carlos and Zurbano gave us the win.

Conquense are another decent side but we clung on to a hard earned away point, we were 1-0 thanks to an O.G but they battled back to 2-1 then on the hour mark Borja Aristizabal struck home a cracking shot from the edge of the box and we held firm to get a draw.

Pontevedre was probably our best performance in terms of possesion and creating chances, Carlos was in top form again scoring twice with Zurbano getting the other. We played very well so I chose that as my highlight game!

Finally a really an unexpected victory away at Badajoz curtisy of O.G! They were top four so was really proud my team came out on top of another really tough match.

October Results

October began with another home win this time Dominguez again from the bench striking home two goals in four minutes to clinch the win.

Montaneros was a curious game as I had no strikers! I had two that were not registered, Dominguez who was injured, Zurbano suspended and Carlos on international duty! So a centre back and a wide left led the line with my winger scoring the equaliser!

Deportivo B was another tough game but the returning Zurbano made up for his red card and earned us another win with fine header from a corner.

Rayo B well destroyed us really, not sure what happened we just never got going the worst performance under me so far. A game to forget! :)

Finally we earned another prized win this time against Atletico B, Carlos on his return scoring the crucial goal. Highlights from the no strikers game!!

November Results

We continue our good form and began with an away win at struggling Leganes, Carlos sliding a wonderful pass to Manu who clipped the ball over the onrushing keeper to seal the win!

Next was our biggest win of the season a 4-1 win over Extremadura a game we dominated from the first minutes, Borja, Raul Sanchez, Carlos and 16 year old Santiago with the goals for a fine home win.

We took our goals to Lugo, Carlos opened the scoring then went provider for Zurbano with Raul Sanchez my centre back scoring his second in two games.

We ended the month with a draw at Universidad despite taking the lead through Manu we made too many mistakes and were punished when we allowed them to score.

December Results

Only three fixtures due to the winter break but a couple more really good wins. First away at Guadalajara with Carlos and his strike partner Zurbano sealing the win.

Then another away victory against Cerro Reyes, Manu scoring again from midfield but another double from Carlos got us the three points.

Finally we ended the month with our first home defeat of the season, going down 2-1 against Vecindario. We were 2-0 down I through on another striker to try to get something Zurbano did score to give some hope, but they defended well and we had to accept the defeat.

The League Table

So we lead the way which is surprising, but we have been playing very well and confidence is very high. I have struck a nice balance between defensive and attack and most have my signings have made and immediate impact. Am pretty pleased with how my formation is shaping up, especially in keeping the ball.

Carlos has scored goals which is nice and has formed a good understanding with Zurbano however my stand out player has to be my left back Jacobo who has has been amazing in the first 18 games! However I made a few more signings to bolster my numbers so will show them now :

January Sales — Three New Players

Aitor Monroy

I love my players to keep the ball, so I need confident midfield players to do that and I feel that Monroy is top signing for me. He will play in the utility postion of my formation and will hopefully bring alot more quality to the side, only 23 so has time to mature.

Domenico Germinale

So this signing was a bit of luck, you see Pacciardi was struggling to settle in Spain and he came to see me asking if I could bring someone in to help me. He wanted this player who was transfer listed, and after bidding £1k pounds he decided to join us! A former Inter player no less and a good capture for me!

Jesus Unzue

Finally I bought a 17 year old back up goalkeeper who started at the Barcelona acadamy. Was a freebie so snapped him up and will hopefully mature well into a first choice goalkeeper.

So thats it! Hopefully you enjoyed reading my start to the season and hopefully my videos worked but am not too hopeful. I will start posting montly reports as I like that idea and it gives a much greater insight I think!
