Bury FC: October & November

Published on

Hi everyone, I am happy to bring you another update of my Bury FC story. This time it will be a two month update.

RESULTS

Despite a difficult start, we are currently going through some amazing form! We only lost 1 game in the last two months, and drew 1 game. We won the others. The team seems stronger than other teams in the league. My team has technique to grind out results as you can see in the screenshot. 8 games were won by one goal! The best match in this period was no doubt the last match against Rochdale — our local rivals. After going a goal down and playing really poorly in the first half, we turned the game around in the second half.

WELLINGTON SILVA?

After looking at the above screenshot, your probably thinking… ‘Wellington Silva? Where has he come from?’ Anyway let me explain… At the start of October, I recieved bad news that Davide Petrucci and Ali Fuseini (both starters), would be out for 2 months each. I felt I could cope without them. However, due to many midweek games, followed up my weekend games, my two strikers Jason Euell and Marko Maletic, got injured for a long period. This left me with one fit striker in Andy Bishop. I had to do something and brought in Wellington Silva from Arsenal on a 3 month loan. This guy is different class! I was suprised he accepted us!

Most of the Arsenal players were glad to get rid of him in particularly Marouane Chamakh. It seems he was an annoying person in the dressing room.

League Table

We’re top! Just about though… By one point. As you can see that we are not known for goal scoring. We are more known for defending. We’re the only team that has conceded less than double figures in the league :D

Player Ratings

Well… Thats it! We sit top of the league. However, I wouldn’t get too confident as we almost slipped up last season. Fingers crossed it doesn’t happen again! :-)

Take Care, Sayam!
