And so the Newcastle story begins….

Welcome folks to my first post about my story with Newcastle United. My team are currently in the Coca-Cola Championship and my goal this year is to get them back promoted to the English Premier League.

Transfers

I was given a good transfer budget of £1.5 million but because of the poor financial position at Newcastle (£100 million debt!) I decided not to use any of it. I managed to get two Premier League quality players on loan though…..

The loan acquisitions of Aaron Ramsey and Kiko Macheda were amazing for me. Have a look at their stats:

Aaron Ramsey

He is a great player whom I think was a great snap by myself and I was surprised that Arsenal had allowed him to go out on loan. Here is my other gem, Federico Macheda.

I am not surprised that Man Utd let him go considering his age and I am sure that he shall develop hugely with consistent first team football. I know of Macheda’s ability myself as I am a Man Utd fan and I am 100% confident he will score plenty goals in the Championship. I feel that the signings of Ramsey and Macheda will be a massive benefit to us.

I do not play my friendlies so I tend not to pay too much attention to them but here they are anyway:

They were a good work out for the team and I am satisfied with the results :)
