A Day in the Life of a Forum..

Published on

Hey everyone!

It’s been a good three weeks now since I last posted on the main site about the forum and since then, a whole lot of stories have taken on a world of their own, developing into some great reads!

So, we will start with two snippets from the current ‘Stories of the Month’:

The Unknown Manager Challenge (Acss)

Acss has really developed his writing skills over the past month, and his story is very enjoyable. Last time I posted on the main site to highlight his story, he was a rather unknown manager at struggling Chavdar. Now though after moving to Romania to offer a new lease of life to Rapid Bucharest, he has been offered the job at Dynamo Kiev in a bid to help them secure Champions League football. Coupled with his first international adventure with Argentina at the Olympics, it should develop into a brilliant story over the coming month!

Fortuna Sittard — Youth Academy Challenge (Excessive)

It’s mine again! Very interesting month in Sittard though as I have found the time to get through numerous seasons and fortunately, find a tonne of success. We managed to win our first Eredivisie title a couple of years ago, setting the scene for some dramatic European adventures including finishing second in the group stage at the expense of Real Madrid and Chelsea in respective seasons. Now, after loosing our star man (Rudy de Vries) for a mere £8.5M, we go about trying to rebuild the foundations of the club in a strive for success. If only I can get the regens to do it….

Onto the other stories on the forum that deserve a mention..

Crosby’s ‘Road to Achievement’ (Jon Crosby)

Our most read and commented upon story this year, and it’s been sure an enticing story. Jon is trying to complete all of the steam achievements in one save, and in doing so, travelling around the world to give readers an experience in all walks of football. He has just completed ‘Scottish Hero’, taking amateur club Queens Park from the bottom of the Scottish tier, to the SPL. Where will he go next..?

AS Monaco (CsAtlantis)

Having just got his story back active, I thought he deserved a mention. Cs has taken forgotten giants back to the top of French football and having such won Ligue 1, he is aiming his sights higher in a bid to conquer the Champions League.

The Hexagon Challenge (Karl Deighton)

Lastly but by certainly no means least, we have Karl with his Hexagon Challenge. Seriously, this kid has got some talent. Aiming to gain all six Champions Leagues (having downloaded Oceania), he has raced through the majority, obtaining 4 Champions Leagues before the turn of 2018. Incredible. Now with Chelsea, he his hunting down the European Champions League in a bid to secure his final one in Africa.

Anyway those are the stories that are catching the readers eyes at the moment, but there are plenty more on the forum to get your teeth stuck into. All of the stories can be found here.

Also make sure you enter our competitions, we have one running for ‘Goal of the Month’ and for ‘Story of the Month’. In the former you are able to win prizes from the FMS store while the latter gets a sticky one the Stories board. There are only a couple of days left in these before the entries for May come through so make sure you vote, and enter in a few days time!

Cheers,
Excessive
