Real Union — Season 2022 Conclusion!

Hi All!

Well first off, congratulations to my team Barcelona for winning the la liga title! It was a recored breaking performance and well done to Real Madrid for making it a fantastic last day! But I feel the best team won it this year, but fingers crossed for Cesc and David Villa to join this year!

After a minor recovery from the celebrations! I will now bring you the final round-up of my season, which is now 2022!

The future is scary, but lets begin!

La Liga Results And League Table

Well we couldnt go through a whole season unbeaten, but our nemesis Atletico were the first side to afflict a defeat on us this season! Aguero scored a late free kick but they deserved to win. Then you wait for one bus and another comes along! As we were again beaten away at Sevilla!

However we recovered well and won the title with games to spare! Last day defeat against Barcelona where I played four strikers! (Just because I could!).

So my side retain the league title for the first time in our history and we have done it in style, scoring 113 times and conceeding only 38. A massive +75 goal difference and we were simply too good this year, am hopeful of winning three in a row!

The Champions League

Dissapointment!

After narrowly beating Stuttgart, we met Man City who have spent an insane amount of money on players! However we managed to get an away goal and I felt that was enough to progress even though we were beaten.

Things began well as Lopez Fernandez scored before half time and we looked very comfortable, and probably should have extended our lead. Then in the final minute we gifted them a goal, which put us out as it was too late to react!

My dream of a champions league trophy will continue but I felt we deserved a place in the final.

Player Ratings

Well again Castaignos was our hero and I have decided to reward him with the captains armband next year. He really deserves it for all he has done for this club, a brilliant player.

David was again prolific infront of goal, scoring 34 times. Flavio had an excellent seaon as did Velasco but Lopez Fernandez and Lowe are world class in the centre of our midfield.

Azparren has been unsettled all season and his performances suffered and Biasku remains a little dissapointing.

I am finally a club legend! After many years of trying!

I join both Ufarte and Irureta (who are new stadium was named after!) as a legend at Real Union, but am really surprised that both Castaignos and Kramaric havnt joined me! I mean Kramaric is the clubs all time leading goalscorer!

But a nice achivement for myself, however we have still yet to win the champions league and I am determined to get it! So have signed another 4 year deal at my club! I will not leave until it is won and even then I may stay.

But my aim is clear now, to retain la liga for another year and to break our champions league duct and finally win it!
