Real Union — A New Season Begins!

Published on

Hello everyone!

Have been so busy at work, that I havnt progressed too far into my new season. But I have began it so I will share how everything has unfolded!

My aim is the champions league and to retain la liga again. We were brilliant in the league last year and deserved to get to the champions league final too, just bad luck cost us!

But lets look at everything that has happened :

Bigger Stadium!

Things began with an almost £16 million pound expansion of our new stadium. When things are finished we sould have a capacity of 40,000+ which is fantastic for the club. We have been selling out almost every game and my request was accepted by the board, and will be finished around christmas!

We also are spending £4 million pounds os upgrading our training facilities so lots of redevelopment!

Sad News!

Ok a bit of sad news (at least for me!) coming up!

Former club captain and Union hero Leo will be retiring at the end of the season. I had half expected it but a real leader at my club and he helped build the side we have today. He has captained us for many years and had been a real fan favourite. A great player, he will be missed!

Transfers Out

One major out Giordas Linardos has left. He had a minimum fee clause of the price of £20 million which was activated by a horde of clubs. He chose Palermo which surprised me but wasnt that dissapointed he left. We have alot of quality in that area (Upfront) so the money was nice.

Transfers In

I spent a bit of money, but two transfers were agreed last January so only really spent £12 millon in this window. Am really pleased with the players so lets have a look at them :

Antonio Lopez Santos

Good wingbacks are a nightmare to find, but really needed a right sided one as Michel is now 32. Aizpurua has been playing their but is a natural left wingback so we needed someone.  Am really pleased with this player and he should improve our team in that area.

Saul Herranz

Payed a little too much, but my scout said he would be the quality of Luis Lopez Fernandez our midfield hero I couldnt let him go! Only 19 a real talent for the future.

Lars Weber

Dubbed the next Jurgen Klinsman my scouts all believe that this guy could be the next great goal machine! So I parted with the best part of £12 million to make him a Union player. Tall, good in the air and has pace also a natural finisher at 17 should develop into a world class centre forward.

And thats that! Am very happy with the squad and after a bit of a staff rejigging am really happy with that now! Hopefully we can win that elusive trophy and have another good season!

Thanks for reading!
