New Competition: Goal Of The Month!

Hello dear friends! A new year is here and after some thinking I decided to start a brand new competition here! It will obviously be related to Football Manager 2011, a competition between the most beautiful goals that you have seen in the game. How it will work is extremely simple: if one of your players has scored a great goal in FM 2011 you will simply have to upload that goal to YouTube and then post a comment with a link to the video. Submissions will be open until the 15th of the month, then all the submitted goals will be published in a post and entered into a poll where the readers will get to vote until the end of the month and decide which goal is the most beautiful one.

Every competition has to have some prizes, right? Well, each «goal of the month» winner will get a football related book from me. The January winner will get a copy of «Inverting The Pyramid: The History of Football Tactics» by Jonathan Wilson, a great book that will really improve your tactical knowledge and skills.

The competition will go on until there will be an official announcement on the release date for Football Manager 2012! Then the monthly competition will stop but we’ll have a kind of a play-off between all the monthly winners: all the best goals from each month will be entered into another poll and the winner will get a copy of FM 2012!
