July 1st 2010: Happy Canada Day

Published on

Hello Friends

Greetings from Canada and I would like to wish you all a Happy Canada Day wherever you are in the world. I hope to that you have all been enjoying the World Cup though sadly England’s campaign was miserable to say the least.

I hope to be back soon with a new story for you as it’s been two weeks since my Huddersfiled story came to an abrupt end thanks to Windows XP. I’m just having difficulty selecting a team but please no suggestions as we tried that before and the save didn’t last that long  :)

Regards,

Kevin

Canada Day (French: Fête du Canada), formerly Dominion Day (French: Le Jour de la Confédération), is Canada‘s national day, a federal statutory holiday celebrating the anniversary of the July 1, 1867, enactment of the British North America Act (today called the Constitution Act, 1867), which united two British colonies and a province of the British Empire into a single country called Canada. Canada Day observances take place throughout Canada as well as internationally.
