As you can see there is two cups with a * on the end, they are in place because they aren’t a cup I have to win to complete it. If I get the chance I shall go for it but I will not be searching for the job.
So as you may well know, Mexico have been drawn in one of the toughest groups I’ve ever seen in my life! With Brazil and France being the two top seeded and more than likely favourites to advance into the next round that leaves myself (Mexico) and Minnows Japan to sit and cry! I could see myself coming out with 4 or 5 points in the groups! I personally think we should beat Japan with ease and then either draw the games agaisnt France and Brazil or Draw and lose against one of the teams if you get that.
So prior to the World Cup, only one game was scheduled one that I didn’t decide on but it was against a country called Tonga, this is a team who have previously only won 1 game in the past 4 years which is well horrendous to be fair and they didn’t stop losing when they stepped up to the plate to have a swing at Mexico. Mexico would be the toughest team they would face to date but could it be a wake up call to Mexico?
Well unfortunately I haven’t got any build up to this match as I completely forgot to save it, I really thought I was just playing a normal save not my national one but I have got the highlights and the match report for you;
Match report —

It was a superb solo effort and Ramirez looked delighted. Winger Luis Ricardo Rios completed the rout with a fierce shot on 76 minutes.

Match report —
Mexico 0 – 0 France (World Cup Group C)
Mexico will have been the happier of the sides after a 0 – 0 draw on a hard and bouncy surface at Spartak.
Commanding centre-back Mamadou Sakho’s red card for a vicious foul on 7 minutes put France’s position under question. Winger Luis Ricardo Rios red card for a vicious foul on 11 minutes put Mexico’s position under question.
France also saw their 24th minute strike questionably chalked off.
Both teams had a number of attempts at goal, which promised much, but the quality of finishing was poor throughout.
No highlights due to it being a 0 -0 draw.
Anyway on to the build up of the final game of the groups and this is agaisnt no other than the great Brazil! But in the build up there was a little controversy….
Spain have had a horrendous World Cup, losing their opening two games in the group. First losing against Greece and then Ghana after leaving them unable to advance into the next round!
