As you can see there is two cups with a * on the end, they are in place because they aren’t a cup I have to win to complete it. If I get the chance I shall go for it but I will not be searching for the job.

Heyoooooo, Boys and girls my next cup is within my reach the African Cup of Nations! This will I think be my hardest tournament I have played in so far! So brace your self for three matches today which will decide if I qualify for the quarter finals of the cup! We have been drawn agaisnt Ghana who are 17th in the world rankings, Libya who are ranked 88th in the world and lastly Zimbabwe who are currently ranked 52nd in the world.

So as you know I need to pick a squad for my team for the African Cup of Nations, so here it is;

Goalkeepers —

Carlos Kameni — 72 caps, Guy Roland Ndy Assembe — 16 caps and Sylvain Elessie — 0 caps.

Defenders —

Benoit Assou-Ekotto — 56 caps, Gaetan Bong — 7 caps, Eric Matoukou — 34 caps, Allan Nyom — 9 caps, Aurelien Chedjou — 39 caps, Jean- Armel Kana-Biyik — 23 caps and Stephane Mbia — 72 caps.

Midfielders —

Attackers —

Leonard Kweuke — 24 caps, Vincent Aboubakar — 27 caps, Titi — 2 caps, Maxim Choupo — Moting — 18 caps and Leo Steve Beleck — 0 caps.

As you may have noticed, no Sebastien Bassong a key man in the Cameroon squad! He has managed to break his leg : / which is a big loss for Cameroon hopefully someone else can step up to the plate, also Vincent Aboubakar the main man upfront has also got an injury but luckily we were able to call him up still he is out for around 2 weeks — 4 weeks so if we manage to get to the final he may feature then.

Right guys it’s time to kick of the campaign in South Africa on what I would imagine a sunny afternoon and here is my team without a few key players I sadly say;

According to a well known source » The Cameroonian Football Express»

They said » I fancy Cameroon to win this one. They should have enough quality to see of the threat of Libya.»

Prior to the match I told my team (For the fans) Last time out in this competition you didn’t do your fans justice so show them you mean business this afternoon! Let’s kick off the first half.

An error from Libya’s Mahamat Belhaj allowed striker Leonard Kwueke to score a powerful effort.Striker Mohamed Zubya pulled one back for Libya after 49 minutes with a fierce effort from eighteen yards out.

So the second match is upon us and this one brings us up against Zimbabwe a team we must be beating today and hopefully the boys do just that!

I give you the starting eleven to face Zimbabwe;

According to a well known source «The Zimbabwean Football Daily»

They said «I like this Cameroon side and believe they should be able to secure a win against Zimbabwe today.»

Cameroon had their midfield to thank on a fine summer’s afternoon at Moses Mabhida Stadium as they showed their strikers how to finish. A brace from Armand Ella helped Cameroon to victory.

The match began in controversial circumstances when Zimbabwe were denied claims by Martin Temwanjera for a penalty. Cameroon also saw their 14th minute strike questionably chalked off.

Winger Armand Ella gave Cameroon the lead with a deftly executed finish from close range in the 27th minute. Ella added his 2nd goal of the game with a curling shot on 37 minutes.

It was a superb solo effort and Ella looked delighted. Experienced striker Cuthbert Malajila pulled one back fro Zimbabwe after 56 minutes with a deftly executed finish.

Winger Aboubakar Oumarou completed the rout with a close range effort on 58 minutes.

Here are the highlights that are also available in stunning HD (1080p);

Finally on to our last match of the groups, a big game for Cameroon as they are up against Ghana, this match will be tough and I could see this frizzling out to be a draw!

Well here is my last squad choice in the groups;

Accoring to a well known source «The Ghanaian Football Gazette»

They said «Both teams are fairly evenly matched and I think this will be a draw.»

Prior to the match I said to the boys, do this for the fans, not my not yourself but the fans!

First half —

40th minute — GOAL — Asamoah Gyan

45 + 2 — GOAL — Stephana Mbia

Half time —

Ghana 1 — 1 Cameroon

I said to the boys in the away changing room, I can see a win for us, hit them on the counter one goal will do it boys!

Second half

54th minute — GOAL — Michael Essien

60th minute — GOAL — Jean -Armel Kana — Biyik

Full time

Ghana 2 — 2 Cameroon

Match report —

Ghana 2 — 2 Cameroon (African Nations Group B)

Ghana had no answer to Cameroon’s prowness from dead-ball situations as Cameroon scored all their goals from set-pieces on a fine summer’s evening at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Experienced striker Asamoah Gyan gave Ghana the lead with an accurate finish in the 40th minute. Strong centre-back Stephane Mbia then equalised for Cameroon in the 45th minute with a fine header from point blank range.

Ghana captain Michael Essien put the home side in front in the 54th minute with a fierce effort from eighteen yards out. Cameroon’s equaliser came through Jean-Armel Kana Biyik as he seized on Isaac Vorsah’s mistake to score a close range header.

Here are the highlights that are also available in stunning HD (1080p);

So that’s the end of the groups for Cameroon where we managed to come second behind Ghana on goal difference, baring in mind people we are without star striker Vincent Aboubakar who is know only 4 — 9 days away from being fit and ready to play!

I am joking guys, I didn’t take the job at Barcelona! I am a international manager and that’s all!
