FMS — The new team, controlled by you.

Hey everyone.

This is a new story about the journey of a football team controlled by you, the FMS community.

I have been thinking about doing something like this for a few weeks now and due to the recent upheaval I’d like to get the massive community that follow FMS back involved and enjoying their experiences on here. Essentially the club is based around the input of you, the community, whereby your posts and ideas affect the whole game. You will each be given a player in the squad and it is your job to decide what they do with their footballing careers! You choose their fate.

More about that later, but first I’d like to introduce you to the club.

The first thing that you have to choose is the NAME! Johnny has mocked up a team badge for the club and has given it the name ‘FMS Patriots’. However, this is by no means set in concrete and we would love you, as the readers to select their name.

FMS does have a set of kits though, and these are the shirts your lads will be wearing!

Also to decide on, is where the club STARTS its adventure. We don’t want to go in too low of a division as the players would end up getting poached by the bigger clubs however any of the major leagues are available to choose from:
Do you want the team to start off in the Premiership? Or the Championship perhaps? Even the Bundesliga? Its your choice as the community to decide.

With the club out of the way, and the decisions you have made on both the name of the club, and where you want them to begin their adventure, lets get onto your major involvment in this story. Your PLAYER.
As I said before, you decide the fate of your own player. I will give updates on the matches and the news on each players status every update if there any major developments concerning either the contracts, fitness/injury, or transfer. Your part to play in all of this is to try and manage your own player, the way you want to by leaving a comment after every update. A few questions you might ask yourself are:
Do you want to put him on a harder training regime to improve his stats?
Do you want to accept that transfer to Barcelona?
Do you want to get some game time and go out on loan?

They are just a few examples on what you can choose from. Ultimately though, I will be choosing the team. You can plead for your player to get some game time, but that is the only thing you cannot control. Below is a form you will need to fill out so I can create that player. I will be using your Username on this site for naming the players after you have posted: (I have filled out my details in bold as an example..)

Obviously, there can only be a certain amount of players and the ones that I would end up creating, I would try and play as many times as possible. If not, as I said, you can decide your players fate and could maybe send them on loan? Or accept that huge transfer request to Barcelona?

So that’s it, dont forget to post your opinions on a TEAM NAME, a STARTING LEAGUE and most important of all, your FORM for that all important player.
