This FM 2017 player profile of Rodrigo Bentancur shows a cheap, versatile midfielder with great technique and solid potential. In my test save, despite lack of game time Bentancur developed well with great technique, shooting and dribbling complemented by good all round physique and vision. With more game time I have no doubt those mental attributes would increase to at least match his technical ability, making the young Uruguayan a great wonderkid.

With fixed potential you should get a reliable midfielder capable playing as a winger, box to box midfielder or even playmaker. Not bad for £3.5 million.
