2015 U20 World Cup champion and Golden Glove winner
Predrag Rajkovic should be one of many potential FM 2016 wonderkids. Predrag is a Serbian goalkeeper plying his trade for Maccabi Tel Aviv. Before moving to Israeli’s top club side Predrag made a name for himself with Red Star Belgrade making a SuperLiga debut aged 17 Rajkovic is now an established number one. The Serbian prospect also impressed Internationally in the U20 World Cup, not only lifting the trophy but keeping 3 clean sheets and winning the Golden Glove award in the process. Rated ‘155’ potential in the current game, I’d expect an increase for FM 2016, maybe to around -9 or a fixed ability to that effect and the asking price should be worth a sniff also.
Likened to Victor Valdes for his uncanny reflexes and assured handling I can’t think of many other keepers due an increase to the much glorified -9 potential band. Not only did Rajkovic make a name for himself in both the 2015 U20 World Cup and 2013 under 19 Euro Championships, but also played 28 games for Red Star during 2014/15 keeping an impressive 16 clean sheets.
Serbia U20 2015: Appearances: 7 / Clean sheets: 3 (Golden Glove Winner and U20 WC champion)
What should we expect from this FM 2016 wonderkid? Great all round ability, I’d expect Rajkovic to be assured, commanding and brave with great reflexes, handling and distribution. I certainly hope his development in a short space of time has been recognized and we can all enjoy a new Football Manager legend between the sticks.
