This kid is somewhat of a late bloomer. Just 15 months ago he was playing for Queen’s Park in Scotland’s bottom tier, now he’s already a rising star in the Premier League after moving from Dundee United to Hull City for 2.8 million pounds this summer. Apparently he was rejected by Celtic when he was younger for being too short! They might regret that choice…
He has excellent speed, great shooting and seems to possess solid stamina as well. His technique is good enough to play on the wing as well as in his current left back position. Now he’s a first team regular at Hull City and I believe he will make great progress if he manages to stay clear of injuries. He has already made his international debut for Scotland.
Have a look at the video to see some of his skills:
Andrew Robertson’s stats
Hull City: Appearances: 3 / Goals: 0
Dundee United: Appearances: 36 / Goals: 3
Queen’s Park: Appearances: 34 / Goals: 2
Scotland Under 21: Appearances: 3 / Goals: 0
Scotland: Appearances: 2 / Goals: 0
What should we expect from this FM 2015 wonderkid? He should have at least decent potential, he has already proven he has great speed, technique, shooting and even some flair as well. Can he become as good as Gareth Bale? Probably not, but he should still be a very effective left back both when defending and attacking.
