This FM 2015 player profile of William Carvalho shows a defensive midfielder with mental attributes to rival the best, he’ll be worth a pretty penny. In all my test saves this kid moves to Europes elite and usually for more than £20 million. That alone makes the £11 million asking price a no brainer. In my test save Carvalho developed a good first touch with fantastic passing and decent physicals in the form of stamina, strength and balance. Its those mental attributes that make him stand out, anticipation 20, composure, positioning and vision all 17 and most of the others 16. There are few who can rival those stats.

I think Carvalho would be an amazing roaming playmaker, regista or deep lying playmaker, acting as a shield in front of the back four, he’d certainly start every attacking move.
