This FM 2015 player profile of Ricardo Rodriguez shows an excellent young left back, already good enough to play for top clubs at the age of 21. There is still some room for progress as well, so buying this youngster is a great option if you want a great left back for at least ten seasons. His quality makes the asking price go pretty high at the start of the game and there’s no hope of it going down by much in the future either.

In my test save he was bought by Chelsea in 2015 for 26.5 million pounds. He turned in great seasons in the Premier League as a first team regular for the Blues, his average ratings are quite impressive. The future profile screen shot in October 2021 shows a left back with great mental attributes, good defending skills and also good crossing ability. His career track-record shows that he’s a reliable performer, exactly what you need from a full back.

I think the most suitable role for him would be full back but given his young age I guess you could teach him lots of stuff until he reaches maturity as a player.
