This FM 2014 player profile of Michael Keane shows a sturdy young centre back, good enough for second-tier sides at the start but with potential to become a solid top-flight defender. Manchester United want 6.5 million for him at the start of the game but if you wait for a season or two you might be able to get a real bargain.

In my test save he was loaned out to Championship and League one sides before being bought by Reading for a knock-down price. The Royal made a great deal as they sold him to Swansea who made an even better deal by selling him after just one season to Bayern Munich. He developed excellent strength and decent speed as well, good ability in the air plus solid tackling and marking. His mental attributes developed nicely as well.

Last but not least, he managed to get 10 caps for England and also scored a goal in the process.
