This FM 2014 player profile of Joel Ward shows a hard working, solid full back with an all round ability. What initially drew me in were those excellent mental stats, in my save Ward developed 18 work rate, 19 teamwork, and good attributes across the board in that section. He also gained good speed with great fitness levels and strength. His defensive stats are promising too with 16 for tackling and 17 for marking, making the Englishmen a tough task to get past. £7 million is too much, but that should drop over time.
