This FM 2014 player profile of Gilberto shows a versatile wing back capable of pushing into midfield, with blistering speed and great technique. During my test save Gilberto was trained to DR and most likely used as complete wing back, he’s certainly tailor made for that role, few players can have the impact he has in attack while remaining defensively aware. With brilliant dribbling, crossing and speed he just needs to work on the defensive attributes which come with time.
