Football Manager Classic is one of the new game modes that we will enjoy in FM 2013, and there will be a series of five videos explaining what it’s all about. All the five videos will be added to this post as soon as they become available.
What is FM Classic? Introduction
Miles Jacobson says the new game mode has the same database as the full game mode and the same match engine, but it’s designed to provide a quicker game play experience. Basically it’s Football Manager for very busy people. The game world will be smaller, details are kept to a minimum and there is no individual training for your players. Interaction with staff, board and media are also kept to a minimum while the match highlights can only be viewed in «key highlights» mode.
You can even simulate a match without having to play it, providing a match plan for your staff beforehand. In theory, you could go through a whole season in at most 10 hours of game play.
