This FM 2013 player profile of Maximilian Meyer shows a brilliant wonderkid and one that you can get for a great price at the start of the game. Meyer is just 16 years old at the start of FM 13 and since he’s on an unprotected contract you can approach to sign him directly without having to negotiate with his club, so you can get him for a compensation fee of 1.77 million pounds.

In my test save he made pretty good progress until 2019, even though he didn’t get too much first team football in the first couple of seasons at Schalke. His dribbling is almost perfect at the age of 23, brilliant technique plus excellent flair and creativity. And that’s how he developed under CPU management, I’m sure he can become a lot better with good human management. He was signed by Betis in my save for 14.75 million, so there’s the prospect of a huge profit on him as well. Signing this lad is a no-brainer in my view.
