This FM 2013 player profile of Koke shows a solid young defensive midfielder, you can’t go wrong if you buy this lad. At the age of 20 he is already mature enough to slot into most European top-flight clubs, he has no real weakness. He isn’t world class either, that has to be pointed out, but if you need a reliable defensive midfielder this chap fits the bill.

His contract at Atletico Madrid has a minimum fee release clause so you can get him right away for 13 million pounds. And I’d say you should hurry because in my test save Porto waited a couple of seasons and ended up paying 21.5 million for him. Solid mental attributes, decent physique, top notch passing, tackling and technique, a player that could be exactly who you need in front of your defence.
