This FM 2013 player profile of Christian Benteke shows a clinical striker, a man that will bag you a decent number of goals every season. Benteke is a great buy for Aston Villa in real life, I guess you all know about that by now, but he can be a very good asset in FM 13 as well. Surprisingly Aston Villa are willing to let him go right away for 12.5 million but you won’t be able to buy him at the start of the game because he doesn’t want to leave the club. He could be a sound January transfer though.

In my test save he remained at Aston Villa and bagged in the region of 20 goals every season bar one. He is strong and tall, would make for a good target man, but he also has excellent technique and first touch plus great composure and off the ball movement. If you are looking for a good strong young striker Benteke definitely fits the bill.
