This FM 2013 player profile of Alessio Romagnoli shows a talented young defender, already good enough for most second tier sides at the age of just 17. The scout report indicates great potential at the start of the game and the player would move from Roma for a fee of 5 million pounds.
His progress in my test save doesn’t necessarily show that potential fulfilled but the kid still made some good progress until 2019, becoming a decent top-flight defender with good speed, solid positioning and above average defending skills. I think there is a lot more that can be done with this player under human management, the potential is surely there.
