FM 2013 How To Fix Training Glitch

Hey guys, this is a short post just help those who have been effected by an FM 2013 training glitch. Many weeks ago I noticed something strange with my training screen. The match prep was normal, my ‘general training’ was unaffected but training for ‘this week’, ‘next week’ and ‘in two weeks’ had changed from default to balanced and high intensity to very low!

To add to my confusion, I hadn’t touched my training for months, so why was it reverting to this poor level of intensity when I always set it to default to my general training. The screenshot below shows what I mean.

The training that will be set for next week and the week after keeps changing against my will after pressing ‘continue’ and it doesn’t matter how I adjust my general training either. But what adds to the mystery is the ‘overall workload’ visible in the bottom right corner of your training screen shows my normal workload of ‘medium’.

My thoughts are that this is a visual bug only, I don’t think this actually changes the way your team train, but it is very annoying, so follow the steps below to get things back to normal.

I believe this bug happens when you set your assistant manager to run ‘match training’, so I just went into ‘staff responsibilities’, then clicked the ‘first team’ tab and unticked ‘runs match training’, then pressed ‘confirm’.

Upon going back to the training screen all those future training drop down boxes have adjusted to default again, just as I had them before.

And for those who want nothing to do with match day training, you can now just go back into the staff responsibilities and re-assign that job to your assistant, as of yet I have had no more problems. All training has stayed as I set it up, but if you experience the same problems again I’m afraid you’ll just have to take match training on yourself.

As mentioned, I’m not sure if this did effect the way my team trained, I have had a torrid time on FM13 of late, especially using lesser sides and that led to me wanting this bug fixed…but TBH I don’t think its the source of my problems, I think that all comes down to changes in the match engine. Anyway, I hope this helps anyone experiencing the same FM13 training glitch I did.
