Early winter goalfest!

Published on

So, welcome again folks to my newest addition of my Newcastle story. This shall be a  post about what has been a strange few games for my team.

Results

As you can see, there was many goals in these games. This shows that our defense is not so great at the moment but our attacking play has been very good. We have also been drawing too many games (2 draws in the last six games) which isn’t good. I believe though that if we do keep on scoring goals we will continue to win games. Also, you will see that we have a very interesting draw in the quarter final of the League Cup, Man Utd! As a Man Utd fan, I am going to try and exploit what I feel are United’s weaknesses, even though there aren’t too many of them :D It shall be a good game and I am looking forward to it.

Two Great Goals

There was two world-class goals in these games for my Newcastle team and I felt that they were so good I had to show you! Double-click ‘Shola Ameobi’ to view his goal. Also, double-click ‘Aaron Ramsey’ to view his goal.

Shola Ameobi vs. Nottingham Forest

This goal was amazing and saw Ameobi skip past all of the Nottingham Forest defenders, starting his run in his own half! His finish was very good and composed also. It was the type of goal that Marquinhos would score in Football Manager 2010 :D

Aaron Ramsey vs. Peterborough.

This goal was also very, very good and I loved the teamwork in the goal. The lads had obviously been working on it at the training ground! A great pinpoint corner from Ryan Taylor landed perfectly just infront of Aaron Ramsey, who smashed in from a whole 30 yards!

I hope you enjoyed watching these great goals.

Table

Even though we have had a slight downturn in form recently we are still very comfortable at the top of the table. We are 13 points in the clear after playing only 16 games :D !  I just hope we can keep the form up and then we will be promoted very easily.

Thank you for reading,

Calum.
