Bury FC: January & February

Hi everyone! At the end of December Bury were in 3rdplace with a 4 point advantage and 2 games in hand over 5th place Man City. However, there was still lots of games to play and we could easily crumble!

January Transfer Window

One player departed and his name is Roberto Beltrame. He signed for us two seasons ago and this season he had nothing to do. He only played 3 matches. We recived 5m for him. This means we made 1.4m profit on him.

The man that replaced him is 18 year old Romanian defender George Petrache. He is much better than him, and he only cost 750k more! Heading, Marking and Tackling all =>16 Positioning = 14, and Teamwork & Workrate = 17. Determination = 17! A great defender on paper! And plenty of years to improve! :D

Our next signing in this window is 18 year old Rafael who was transfer listed by Atletico Madrid for 1m. I didn’t hesitate and snapped him up quickly. This deal will only benefit us as we could sell him for a profit, or we could keep him and he will be regarded as ‘trained by club’

Our last signing is another 18 year old, who was pre-signed at the age of 16. He was also signed for 1m. He is great technically, but not mentally. And he doesn’t possess good pace. Also, notice his value has already increased to 3m! :D

Undefeated in this period! And some great victories! Against Manchester United, we were 3-1 down untill we won the game in injury time! Best victory so far as manager of Bury! We also beat Arsenal, who just don’t know how to beat us. Notice Araujo is scoring in the league! He is brilliant! :D

League Table

A great run of form has took us to third place, level on points with second and 1 point off first with a game in hand. It is soo tight at the top! I never thought I would say this, this season, but Bury could win the league!

Euro Cup

We have done better than we did last year and have gone through to the next knockout round. We absolutely spanked Fenerbache, and now we will play local rival Man City.

Top 10 Average Ratings

Well stats don’t lie. Stats are facts! And facts are 100% true! Our monsters up front lead the chart. Ronaldo is closely followed, unfortunately it will most likely be his last season at the club. This season it seems like a lot of the young players (Ronaldo, Lastuvka, Pedersen, Kusters, Fahri Aytac, Ze Carlos & Quimbamba) have matured and now we are solid everywhere on the pitch. Club captain Gino Kusters is the best defender. He is classed as a wonderkid. Remember when some of you thought i payed too much for him? Well the 12m paid has certainly paid off.
