Best Transfer Listed Players in FM 2014
Everybody loves a good bargain, especially when it comes to buying players in Football Manager. That’s why I thought about making a shortlist with the best transfer listed players in FM 2014, all of them are transfer listed at the start of the game (beta version) and the asking prices on most of them are very good. After some intensive scouting I picked around 200 players that should be useful in your team, you will find them all in a downloadable shortlist.

Before moving on to the lists I have to highlight the best transfer listed player in FM 2014: Barcelona’s Jonathan dos Santos. The Arsenal scouts gave him 2.5 stars for current ability and 3.5 for potential ability, he’s a defensive midfielder that can do a good job as a regista, deep lying playmaker, defensive midfielder or half back.
A best eleven of these transfer listed players would look like this: Mohamed Ansif — Danilo Silva, Bruno Uvini, Joseph Yobo, Alexander Buttner — Jonathan Dos Santos — Alessio Cerci, Keisuke Honda, Michael Essien, Urby Emanuelson — Mame Diouf.
The search for these players was conducted on a new game in FM 2014 with England, Italy, Spain, France, Brazil and Argentina loaded as playable and with a large database.
Now let’s see the lists. First the players with at least 2.5 stars for potential ability, they should be good for most Premier League sides, sorted by asking price:

How to install the transfer listed players shortlist in FM 2014
1. Put the downloaded file in this folder: Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2014/shortlists. If the “shortlists” folder doesn’t exist you will have to create it.
2. Start your game and go to shortlists.
3. In the shortlists screen click the “shortlists” menu, just above the players list, on the right side.
4. Select “load shortlist” from the menu and then select the respective file — transfer listed (Johnny Karp, Jul 2013).slf
That’s about it, now get some great bargains in FM 2014!
