Ana, FM 2012 : Season 7 Back After So Long!

Hello everyone!! :)

Phew, seems so long ago since I last even loaded this game took me an hour or so to get back into the swing of it!

Even had to read a few of my previous posts to remind myself how what I was doing and reminding myself of all those heartbreaks! But I quickly put that all behind me after a fantastic holiday and am back and raring to go!

 Last time I ended the season in the worst possible way throwing away not only top spot in the league and my chance of automatic promotion but losing the promotion playoff and remaining in this division for another season.

However these set backs are not enough to throw me away from this game just yet as I look once again for that elusive promotion, so lets see how the season went!

Club Information and Start of Season Finances

So we have another icon! Vladimir Tyurin joined Khlebnikov and our club value went up by double mostly from the transfer money from selling Pavel Esveenko, ticket prices were a bit too high so they knocked 10p of them!

We also gained a handful of new season ticket holders and have no financial worries which is always nice. :)

Transfers In and Out — First Window

So plenty of new additions as I had a mini clear out of unhappy players, Tarasenko who was once my star player was sold as was Gavrilov despite a good season he complained far too much so I just let him go and Matveev also who wasnt good enough.

Record goal scorer Dmitriy Kuznetsov was also released after failing to sign a new contract.

My first signing was to replace the departed Gavrilov so I signed Sergey Moroz who isnt quite as good as the departed player but is a lot younger so hopefully he can develop a little despite our terrible facilities! Most of the other players were signed as back-up/potential players Igor Kovalenko was signed as a potential center back who looks quite good in my opinion.

Vladimir Taran, is our new back up goal keeper, Yury Yanush is a back up forward player, Andrey Yeremin will provide cover at left back and right back cover will come from Vladimir Bykov.

Results and Table — First Half of the Season

So a pretty stunning start as we put the disappointment of last year behind us, I managed to get to my 200th game in charge of Livadia which thankfully ended in a victory as we only dropped two points in our opening fifteen games.

Things are looking really strong so far but I know more than anyone how quickly things can fall apart!! :)

It was more a relief than anything as we finally clinched a fantastic promotion and in the best possible way as we remained unbeaten all season.

An incredible season and one I did enjoy playing! Even better was that there were no playoffs. ;)

Final Player Ratings of the Season

So my front two of Vladimir Tyurin and Igor Kubarev were outstanding scoring over 40 goals between them, and Gaponenko had a great season also at left back.

Tischenko had an up and down season but I was happy with him and Hleb and Novik forged a good partnership at the back but I was delighted with all my players!! :)

End of Season Round -Up

Promotion at last!!

That was the main aim over the past few seasons so am really pleased that we finally made it and our now in the top division in Belarus! We have been steadily improving so we now have a good squad but I know it will be a fight to survive next season.

We were given some good but bad news in the same instance as we have a planned stadium expansion although the cost seems incredibly high to me for the amount of seats we are getting but I guess any building has to be good for the future. Our finances dont look so great now after the new development work but I still think we are very secure financially so am not too worried at this point, we dominated the team of the year this season and the top scorers as both front men lead the way.

So thats it!

Am delighted to have won the league and finally after so long are playing in the top flight, I know it will be very tough but am so happy with my squad at the moment. I just hope we can sign some even better players to help us survive next season but until then thank you all for taking your time to read this as always I look forward to all your thoughts and comments.
