Phew!! So am back home after a fantastic holiday away with my boyfriend, as we have spent the the last week in the beautiful city of Prague. The only bad news was I lost my camera! I also lost two jackets and a pair of shoes!
But beyond that we had a great time! My boyfriend as always lost nothing but mainly as he packs very little! Luckily for me I have the rest of the week off and am now used to being the age of 25!
25 is a good age as I have played 25 seasons in my story! I will do my very best to catch up with all the new posts on site but by the looks of it there is quite a few, so I will try to read as many as I can.
So thats that! So lets get back into the swing of it as I try to complete my challenge winning all five champions leagues in all five regions as I try to complete South America.
If you remember I had just won the league titile at Cruzeiro and were are red-hot favourites to win it again, so here is my season in full.

Transfers Out — First Transfer Window
Transfer In — First Transfer Window
Wow, lots of transfers in and out as I spent a fortune! That said I did reclaim alot of money also through player sales the biggest being Bill who was sold to Espanyol by my chairman. I think I could have a got more for him but hey thats life I did replace him so I wasnt too concerned.
Eagle eyed readers will see Marcelo from Sao Paulo! I had to buy him and payed more than I wanted I also overspent on my keeper but I wanted him. Here are the three best players I bought :
Diego Sotomayor
Da Silva
Marcelo!
Sotomayor is a keeper who had that price minimum release fee which I matched and even though he is from Argentina and foreign he is my only one so no problems with the rules.
Da Silva was brought in from Ajax as a replacement for Bill a little bit more defensive but thats what I wanted he is dutch as he declared to play for them.
Marcelo is Marcelo! Just an amazing goal getter and he will lead the line for my side this season.
Results And Table Minas State Championship
Ok I know how this looks! But belive when I say that this league is very unbalanced my boyfriend summed it up perfectly its like taking Barcelona and putting them in a league with conference sides. Thats what it is as only Atletico Minero could match us.
I have no idea why we have to play this as it does nothing really but we did qualify for the playoff’s, so lets have a look at them :
Semi — Final
Final
So we avenged our only state defeat by beating Minero in the playoff final and retaining our run of twelve Minas state wins!
To be fair we are far and away the best side in Brazil so to win this thing isnt really an achievement in all honesty.
The Copa Libertadores
So Copa Lib time! Seeing as we only play one cup competition I will post it here as we look to retain our trophy, this works exactly like the European champions league so the group stage results first :
Group Stage Results — Copa Libertadores
Second Round, Quarter And Semi Final Results
So we sailed into the final against our big rivals Palmeiras, we had a fairly easy group as we showed our attacking talent to destroy the group and finish top.
We beat Chilean side Audax in the second round as we then beat Newell’s in the quarter final.
Mexican side Pumas were beat in the semi as we cruised into the final, which I will post a little later. ;)
League Results Halfway Point
So yeah, we are the best! Just have an amazing team and we are showing it 19 games into our season and we already have a massive lead.
The three draws were a little worrying but we went on a long winning streak so cant complain really!
A New Job!
Croatia bound! Usually I wouldnt take another international job along side club management but seeing as it is a world cup year I thought why not!
Croatia finished third in the last world cup but the FA are not too ambious and only want me to WIN the world cup! So no pressure then. :)
Final League Results Of The Season
I must admit I was a little worried after the defeat against Internacional that we may not win the league….
Just kidding! We were outstanding from start to finish smashing in over a hundred goals and setting the highest ever points total of 105 but that one defeat still annoys me for some reason! Still cant belive how bad we played against them!
The Copa Libertadores Final
Yay!! The first game was a bit nervy in all honesty and they did score first in the home game but we equalised straight away thanks to Marcelo and once we took the lead we never looked back.
So that makes it four out of five with only Europe left to conquer, so am looking forward to the final leg of my journey!
Club World Championship -Semi Final
The Final
Double Yay!! We managed to humble the mighty Inter Milan thanks to a fine Torres finish on sixteen mintes, we did play very well and we may have took another chance to make the game a little more comfortable but a win is a win!
I knew this Cruzeiro side was something special! :)
Final Player Ratings Of The Season
Best Player — Tony, Who Else!
So the big news was Tony sadly leaving Cruzeiro joining the pretenders at Real Madrid! Just joking of course I am not that bitter!
They payed only £30 million pounds which was an insult but my chairman thought why not, and accepted on my behalf. He is worth more than that so no idea what my chairman was doing as we have around £80 million in the bank so no real need to sell him.
Marcelo scored 44 in 44 to vindicate the huge price I payed for him and Da Silva was also very impressive scoring 20 times even though I played him in midfield. Andre was also outstanding and him and Marcelo should dominate defences for many season to come.
Bye Bye Cruzeiro
So another champions league trophy down and only one to go, Europe as I am set to return. With only Portugal and Holland selected from the bigger countries my task will not be an easy one as I hold out for the right job and I also have a world cup to look forward to with my new Croatia side.
Again thanks for reading as we enter the final leg of my story which I will bring to you all as soon as I can.
