Darren helped create and is the main contributer for Football Manager Stories Scouting Network. Since joining the FMS community in 2011 as co-owner Darren recently took a step back to focus on real life and this new project.
Darren started the Scouting Network with Johnny Karp in July of 2011, feeling that the community needed more detailed player lists and tips. The Scouting Network has sored beyond Darren's wildest dreams, but he still strives to make better profiles and cover more categories. Darren's vision for this site is that of a 'one stop shop' for all your player and transfer tip needs.
You could sum Darren up in a few words as a 25 year old Northern Geordie who loves Football, Newcastle United and Football Manager. Darren's need to achieve perfection is the driving force behind the Scouting Network and his light hearted, helpful nature leads to no question going unanswered.

hi i have a question and i know this might be a bit silly but the longer you play the game will their be new wonder kids in lets say 2019
New players are added to the game every single season, they are called regens or newgens. These players are made up by the computer and every single club will get a number of them to keep the game flowing. I think you should take a look at Juanmi. He becomes a class striker in all of my saves and eventually replaces David Villa in the spain national team. Just a thought. =)
Not developed that way on any of my four saves…while he seems to have potential he has never reached anywhere near it…that is why he hasn’t been profiled yet. If we get a profile of him looking good aged above 24 then we can profile him.
Wow really? That’s odd. Well in my first 2 saves he stayed with malaga while they became the third wheel in la liga next to barce and real. He really tormented the league. Maybe if malaga doesn’t do well he never develops?
Yeah, I must admit he does seem to be very highly rated but I’m yet to see the results…you could be right with your theory.

Connor Wickham. He’s a real nightmare for every defender in my game in 2016. Just wanted to know if he does well in your save.
He does well but not well enough to warrant the starting price tag…I know that drops a lot but it takes a few seasons to do so.
Hey take a look at Henrik Mkhitaryan from Shakhtar.
He’s a really good, cheap, and young (best combo) attacking mid.

Thanks for the suggestion, we are not looking at new players for the foreseeable future, as the new patch means all the current profiles need updating but will look once that job is done.

How about a profile of Jordi Alba? He is immense for me on the left back
He is a good player but hasn’t really reached a good enough level in my saves, I’m not saying he isn’t capable but without the future profile I can’t do a report unfortunately.
What do you think about Markus Henriksen from Rosenborg?
He is certainly worth bidding on but I haven’t profiled him because one or two attributes bug me like his quickness and dribbling etc.
