Eriksen scout report (Steve Worsley)

Christian Eriksen had a breakthrough season last season (2010/11), finding himself to be an important part of the revamped Ajax side, led by Frank de Boer, that won the Eredivisie. At 18/19 he is already a fantastic player for the “less difficult” European leagues like the Netherlands, Greece and Turkey, however his price tag will stand in most people’s way. In a casual Stoke save he has already found himself to be the creative spark in my midfield, alongside Cairney and Adam, showing that he can also perform in the lower teams in a big league.

He is mainly known in Britain, however, for his fantastic performance against England for Denmark and many people see him as the ideal candidate to spearhead Denmark as the Dennis Romedahl and Jon Dahl Tomasson generation start to hang up their boots, I think the fact that FM has given him over 100 caps in the below screenshot shows what a player he will become for the national team.

My best buy rating: 9/10

The reason this isn’t a 10 is the price, if you are a mid-table team in England or Spain then ask your board for this transfer or try and pay a 48 month deal, because he can fit into most teams as a starter immediately and, as such,  you are guaranteed at least 10 good years of football (injury free) before you can sell him for a decent profit.
