FM13 Wonderkids to watch – Javier Espinosa

FM 2013 wonderkids

written by Darren Smith

With FM13 just around the corner I thought we should start looking at possible talent for the new game. Every year unearths a player we have never heard of and so, so many hidden gems. Well this year I want to second guess Sports Interactive, creating some real life profiles of hotly tipped wonderkids SI surely can’t ignore. This will be a continuous series of profiles for FM13 wonderkids, I have five in mind so far but will not be taking any recommendations, its just  a small series of players to look out for come FM13’s release, hopefully this will help us all get excited about the new game.

Javier Espinosa

Club: Barcelona B

Position: MC

Age: 19

Nationality: Spanish

2011/12 league app: 32 (1 goal)

Compared too: Andres Iniesta

Video reel

Barcelona’s youth academy is world renowned for producing stars of the future year in year out. Due to the pure volume of talent within La Masia I think its fair to say some wonderkids can hover under the radar so to speak. Well I think Espinosa is one of them,  Espinosa is touted as the next Andres Iniesta. This kid only made his Barcelona B team debut in mid 2011 scoring against Numancia.

Espinosa is donned the next Iniesta due to his excellent dribbling, passing and movement but the most canny resemblance comes in the wonderkids vision. Espinosa could develop to a good level in FM12, but never world class and certainly no where near Iniesta’s standard, but I think this should change.  I don’t think SI can ignore such a talent for Football Manager 2013 and the proof is in the video. Yes the opposition aren’t exactly Real Madrid but you can clearly see his talent, a must watch star for FM13.

Hi could You please scout Ola John he plays for Benfica. How Good does He Get?

in starting game, maybe he looks like decent player, but in my save game i give him more time playing and he steal show, with 6 assists and 4 goals in 15 appearances so far, and 7,85 avg rating in liga BBVA, fifth rank avg rating so far in BBVA
